The approach of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia towards the protection of the right to a healthy environment

This paper analyzes provisions of the Croatian Constitution related to environmental protection, as well their application in case law Constitutional Court Republic Croatia. The main aim is examine whether considers prescribing right a healthy environment although it only explicitly prescribes life. shall also explore Court’s interpretation other provision that are enshrined Constitution. For purposes writing this paper, 94 decisions containing word ‘human environment’ were examined. However, dealt detail with those referred ends conclusions which can be drawn from an important observation conclusion concerning constitutional protection Croatia unfortunately cannot deduced due extreme lack cases applicants call for complaints.
